A woman of many gifts, Florence Henderson is a TV star, film and stage actress, talk show host, producer, recording artist, author, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and certified hypnotherapist. Countless millions know Florence from her role as matriarch Carol Brady on the TV series "The Brady Bunch," which ran from 1969 to 1974 and remains in syndication today. "I played Carol as the mother I always wished I had," she says. "As the mother a lot of people wished they had." Florence still receives volumes of fan mail addressed to Carol Brady.
In 2008, the Smithsonian Institution honored Florence as a legendary leading lady of American entertainment. Her first TV LAND POP CULTURE ICON AWARD is on permanent display in the National Museum of American History. In other career highlights, Florence starred in Broadway hits such as "South Pacific," "The Sound of Music," and "The King and I"; was the first woman to host "The Tonight Show"; served as spokesperson for Wesson cooking oil for 20 years; was recognized as one of the 100 Greatest TV Icons by Entertainment Weekly; and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Today, this mother and grandmother maintains a very busy schedule. "I'll still be working when I'm 105," she declares. "I'm planning to be the female George Burns." Florence is in high demand as a speaker, presenter, and performer. She recently served as spokesperson for the transition from analog to digital television, helping older adults prepare for this new broadcasting technology. Florence hosts her own national cable talk show, RLTV's "The Florence Henderson Show," which gives her insider's view of Hollywood. She performs her autobiographical one-woman show, "All the Lives of Me...A Musical Journey," throughout the United States.
And now, Florence Henderson is the inspiration and face of The FloH Club—where technology is simple!
